March Madness Stitching

The Big Dance is upon us and it’s time to pick your basketball tournament stitching project. Seasoned sports watchers know, stitching is a fantastic stress reliever for all of those bracket busters, questionable calls and buzzer beaters.  So, we thought this would be the perfect time to share our suggestions for the best collegiate thread colors!

If your heart bleeds blue, let us help you get the shade just right:
 Duke & UNC needlepoint canvases with threads

Gonzaga - Straw Silk Azurite and Cirrus Cloud

Duke - Vineyard Silk Limoges, Silk Lame Braid SL02 and SL15

UNC - Silk and Ivory Breeze, Kreinik 5760 and DMC 827

UConn - Essentials Admiral, Shark and White


Perhaps red is more to your liking and we’ve got the perfect hue:
