Here at Needlepoint.com, we have developed strong relationships with the finest needlepoint finishers in the nation. We offer a wide variety of finishing services such as stockings, ornaments, pillows, and more. Stay tuned to learn more about each of our services and the different options for each!
Pillows
Pillows are a great way to convey the personality and creativity of the stitcher and can be displayed for years to come! For the shape of the pillow, we offer knife edge or box edge. For edging, we offer self-welt, ruffles, fringe, or cording. Your canvas can be mitered or appliquéd to create a pillow larger than the canvas itself. Fabric and edging for pillows must be provided by the customer.
Acrylic Trays
Acrylic tray finishing is a two-step process and can take 6+ months for both steps. First, we send your piece to a finisher who turns your canvas into a hardback cookie. Then, it goes to the acrylic finisher who custom cuts a tray to perfectly fit your piece. You have the option of your piece being permanent or removable in the tray as well as with or without handles on the sides.
Customers can also specify fabric and cording colors (up to 3).
Stand Ups
Stand ups can be finished in a variety of fun and creative ways including gusseted and domed. We also offer easel backs, picture frames, and acrylic stand ups. Customers can specify fabric and cording colors (up to 3).
Brick Covers
Brick covers make for a fun finish that can be a great addition to any home decor! Our finisher provides the brick insert and we typically recommend a wool cording or self-welt and a fabric base. Customers can specify fabric and cording colors (up to 3).
Eyeglass Cases
Eyeglass cases are a great way to turn your stitching into something useful in your everyday life! Our eyeglass cases will have a silk or satin lining and backing and cording of up to your choice of 3 colors.
Clutches
Needlepoint clutches are a great way to show off your stitching! You can choose your zipper color and fabric backing. We recommend a silk lining and velvet backing. You also have the option to add credit card pockets, a wristlet, a tassel or a divider.
Stockings
Needlepoint stockings are truly an heirloom piece that can be passed down for generations. Our stockings are typically self-welt with a velvet backing and a silk lining of your color choice. Cording may be used instead of self-welt but must be provided by the customer. We can also finish stocking cuffs the same way.
Key Fobs
Key fobs are a fun and quick stitch that make for a very useful finish. Most keyfobs are looped with a tab at the top but can also be finished flat as well. We offer a wide range of leather colors as well as lobster clips and letter embossing.
Ornaments
Ornament finishing is one of the most popular types of needlepoint finishing and can typically be finished in one of three ways - hardback cookie, gusseted, or soft/puffy. Customers have the choice of up to 3 colors for cording and the fabric backing color as well. Monogramming is also available.
Belts
Belt finishing has a very quick turnaround time and makes for great gifts. Make sure to watch our video on how to correctly measure your belt size so you know how much to stitch. We also recommend stitching 2-3 extra rows along the top and bottom of the design to be folded over to form the edge of the belt. Customers can choose brass or silver buckles and black, light brown, or dark brown leather.
