The finished belt size is best determined by taking a belt that is currently being worn and
measuring from A (the most worn hole) to B (the top of the buckle prong).

The length of the stitched needlepoint canvas when finished will be 6 inches shorter than the finished belt size. For example, a 36-inch belt will require 30 inches of stitched needlepoint.

Stitch 2 to 3 extra rows along the top and bottom edge of the design. These stitches will be rolled over to form an edge for the belt.

Approximately 1.5-2 inches of stitched canvas will be covered by leather in the finishing process.

Please Note: Your belt size is NOT the same as your pant size.
You must measure an existing belt for accurate sizing.

Instructions for Sending in Finishing

  • Mail your piece(s) to 3811 Hillsborough Street, Raleigh, NC 27607, Attn: Finishing. We recommend sending your piece via UPS or FedEx. Please get the tracking information!

  • Please print our belt finishing form here. Fill out the information and include it in your package.

  • Let us know how you want your piece finished. Pictures and drawings are always accepted!

  • If you are sending a pillow, we ask that you provide your
    fabric and trim (if applicable).

  • When your piece arrives at our store, we will send you an email to let you know it arrived safely.
