We ship using USPS or UPS. You can make your shipping selection at check out. Shipping times shown are from the date on which the order ships, not the date on which the order was placed.
Shipping will be calculated when you check out, and before you confirm your order, so you can test different options.
First Class USPS is the least expensive option and has a 3-5 business day delivery time. This service is only available for packages that weigh under 1 pound and typically costs $5.00 - $8.00.
UPS Ground and USPS Priority Mail are faster shipping options and prices typically start at $10.00.
We welcome all international visitors to needlepoint.com, and we make it our mission to answer any questions you have and get your order out to you quickly and safely.
We ship overseas for two convenient flat rate options. Any customs duty or taxes charged by the destination country is the responsibility of the customer. We do not split-ship international orders, and so will wait until your order is complete before shipping it.
USD $25.00 - USPS First Class Package International. Delivery time varies by destination. There is no parcel tracking with this option, and once it ships we cannot offer a refund or replacement for any non-arriving or lost parcels.
USD $55.00 - USPS Priority Mail International. This service offers parcel tracking and a 6-10 day delivery time to most destinations. We will refund or replace trackable orders that are lost in transit if a correct delivery address was supplied.
Canvases listed on our site as In Stock should be available to ship within 1-3 days - if you order threads it will take us a day or two to kit your canvas.
For canvases listed as Pre Order, we do not currently have the product in stock and will need to order it from the designer. This can take anywhere from 2-12 weeks depending upon the designer's inventory. For a more accurate delivery estimate on a canvas, please contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Your credit card is charged at the time of order. We do our very best to ensure canvases are received in from the designer and shipped out to you in the shortest possible timeframe.
Design colors will vary from computer to computer, depending upon screen resolution and settings. We do our best to use the most accurate images available to us to show the highest quality imagery.
We do not accept returns on canvases, books or charts. We accept un-opened skeins, threads, spools or cards of threads, with a receipt. All items are subject to a 30-day return policy. What do my thread choices mean when selecting them for my canvas?
When you select a thread choice for your canvas, we will use that selection as a guide to kitting your piece.
If you choose Cotton, we will kit your piece with Anchor Floss, DMC 5, DMC 3, Threadworx Overdyed Cotton or a combination of these.
If you choose Wool, we will kit your piece with Vineyard Merino, Planet Earth Wool, Bella Lusso, Silk & Ivory, Elizabeth Bradley Wool, Alpaca 18, Angora, Glisten, Petite Alpaca, Wisper, Fluffy Fleece, or any combination of these.
If you choose Silk / Silk Blends, we will kit your piece with Silk & Ivory, Vineyard Silk Classic, Pepper Pot, Splendor, Silk Lame Braid 18, Silk Lame Braid 13, Glisten, Petite Silk Lame, Planet Earth 6-ply Silk, Splendor Designer, Straw Silk, Vineyard Tone on Tone, or any combination of these. *Note: If you are allergic to wool, please let us know in the comments so that we do not use silk / wool blends.
If you choose Pick Our Favorites we will use any of the aforementioned threads, as well as Arctic Rays, Beads, Capri 18, Entice, Flair, Frosty Rays, Fuzzy Stuff, Fyre Werks, Kreinik, Neon Rays, Neon Rays +, Patent Leather, Petite Frosty Rays, Petite Sparkle Rays, Petite Very Velvet, Ribbon Floss, Ribbon Floss Shimmer, River Silk Ribbon, Snow, Sparkle Rays, Threadworx Metallic, Threadworx Cotton, Very Velvet, Water n' Ice, or any combination of any threads we carry. *Note: Some canvases are truly better following the saying "less is more" and we will kit as such. When we kit a canvas using Pick Our Favorites, we truly choose what we think will look best. So if you choose Pick Our Favorites specifically for a variety of threads and will be disappointed otherwise, please feel free to add a comment and we will try to accommodate.

Include a note with your name, contact information, and instructions on your finishing choices (as well as fabric and/or trim if you would like your piece finished as a pillow). What are my options for finishing (ornaments / hanging signs)?
For ornaments / hanging signs, you have the following options: One-sided or Two-Sided, and Soft / Puffy, Hard Back ("Cookie"), or 3-Dimensional.
You must also choose the cording color and backing color (if needed) or ask us to choose for you. You can provide fabric and cording if you have something specific in mind, however you do not need to as we can provide these for you.
Hanging Loop: Centered or Edge to Edge (please specify from where to where you would like this - we suggest drawing a little picture!).
What are my options for finishing (pillows)?
For pillows, you have the following options: Knife Edge, Bolster, or Turkish Corner.
Outside Edging Options: Self-Welt, Ruffle, Cording, Fringe, Shirred, or None.
Inset Edging Options: Appliquéd with Self-Welt, Ruffle, or Cording OR Mitered with Self-Welt, Cording, or None.
Zipper: Yes or No.
Fabric and Trim need to be provided by the customer.
What are my options for finishing (stand-ups)?
For stand-ups, you have the following options: One-sided or Two-Sided, Gusset or No Gusset, and Embellishments or No Embellishments.
What are my options for finishing (easel backs / picture frames)?
For easel backs / picture frames, you have the following options: Vertical or Horizontal, backing and lining fabric color, and cording color.
For the cording color and backing / lining color you can ask us to choose for you or give us a general idea of the color you are interested in and we will do our best. However if you have something specific in mind, you can provide fabric and cording (a full card / skein of each color) however you do not need to as we can provide these for you.
What should I include when I bring in / ship you my needlepoint for finishing?
When you bring in your needlepoint for finishing, we will fill out a form with you. If you ship in your needlepoint, please send it to 3811 Hillsborough Street, Raleigh, NC 27607, attn: Caroline. You should include a note with your finished belt that has the following information:
Your phone number and email. We will not give this out and it is purely for us to contact you with any questions / to let you know when your belt is finished.
Your address for us to ship it back.

If you need us to call you upon us receiving it to discuss finishing options or questions you have. We highly recommend you send your finished needlepoint with tracking as we are not responsible for a lost package you send us.
