• A look inside Needlepoint.Com!

We are so excited to share everything that’s new at Needlepoint.Com. Whether you’re shopping in person or on our website, you will notice a few changes.
Like many people who used the past year to clean out closets, we spent some time improving the shop . The most notable change is the drastic increase of our inventory. There are literally thousands of canvases here now, so many in fact, that we are unable to display them all on our walls.  So, if you’re planning to visit us in person, be sure to look at our website first.  Every canvas you see on our website is here and ready to go!  If you come with a list of what you would like to see, we will pull canvases for you and then help you choose the perfect thread pairings. If you’re unable to shop the website first, we have ipads around the store for you to use when you arrive.
For those who would rather choose a pre-kitted project with a stitch guide, you will love our new line called Needlepoint To Go. There are kits from pillows on 13 count canvas to ornaments on 18 count, and every single one comes with gorgeous bright threads, needles and stitch instructions. The price point on these kits is especially nice! Beginners and seasoned stitchers alike will find something fun from Needlepoint To Go
We also have stitched some of our favorite designs from artists across the industry and turned those projects into fully kitted projects with stitch guides. You’ll find ornaments, hanging signs, clutches, pillows and our ever popular Kirk and Bradley travel rounds with new destinations for 2021.
If English tapestry is what you enjoy, you’ll want to look at the full line of  Elizabeth Bradley kits in the shop as well. If you’ve been stitching EB panels and you’re ready for a rug border, those are now printed and kitted so you don’t need to work from a chart anymore. Needlepoint.Com is the North American partner of the Elizabeth Bradley team in Wales, so we carry all of their collections, accessories and wool. We can provide whatever you need.
Each month we also have at least one trunk show in the store.  This summer, be on the lookout for shows from Princess and Me, Labors of Love, Funda Scully, Plum Stitchery and more!  Over the next year, we have over 20 different trunk shows booked and all trunk show canvases are 20% off the usual retail price. Trunk shows are the ideal way to build your stash, so it’s a really good idea to shop from them as they come in each month.
Lastly, we are adding several new thread lines to enhance your kitting experience. In the next few weeks, you can expect to see thread from Weeks Dye Works, EdMar Boucle and the full line of Essentials silk/wool blend from Planet Earth Fibers. If you’re ordering online, please make a note if you enjoy these threads and would like them sent with your canvases.
If you are coming to see us, please remember our shop hours are 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Our website is always open and every order gets the same personal attention as though you were standing right beside us. If you’re in Raleigh, please drop in because we can guarantee there is a project waiting for you at Needlepoint.com!

I’m a former Raleigh resident who owned The Needlework Shop in North Raleigh for many years and I can’t help but wonder if I may have known you or any of your employees. I closed the shop some time in the mid-nineties I believe. We specialized in any type of needlework that was charted or counted and carried a wide selection of even weave fabrics, canvas and most of the threads that were then available. I’m now living outside Nashville, Tn, still doing needlepoint and still working my way through my stash (starting to wish I had kept even more as I sure don’t want to run out.lol).
